CHURCH COUNCIL
Purpose of the Church Council is to provide for planning and implementing a program of nurture, outreach, witness and resources in the church. It is the central leadership body of the church. The Council envisions, plans, implements, and annually evaluates the mission and ministries of the church. Bryan Fox STAFF/PASTOR PARISH RELATIONS Purpose of the Staff Parish Relations Committee is to be a liaison between all paid staff of the church and the congregation, and to direct the church in the hiring of non-pastoral staff. They strive to encourage, strengthen, nurture, support, and respect the pastor and staff and their families, and to promote unity in the church. Chair: Grover Lowery 2024: Jane Sentelle, Curtis Howe, Emily Oakley, Tom Rogers 2025: Grover Lowery 2026: Carolyn Evans Ex-Officio - Lay Leader & Lay Delegate to Annual Conference: Judy Fowler TRUSTEES Purpose of the Trustees is to: supervise and maintain all property belonging to the congregation so ministries can be effective; report annually to the Charge Conference the state of all church property, equipment, investments and resources; and review the insurance program for the church and verify that the church is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It is the committee’s responsibility to encourage financial giving and to manage and disperse the finances so that the mission and vision of the congregation can be achieved, and that the goals of the ministry teams can be fulfilled.
